I had the opportunity to follow Oana and her crazy agenda in Banat. The first sun of the spring was out and I decided to have a walk in Fenes while Oana was busy with other stuff. As I want to experiment everything that is different from Belgium, I asked a villager to join him on a carriage tour in the village. It was great fun. The people here are very friendly and happy to see new faces. Even the kids are curious and trying to speak with you. I struggled with the few Romanian words I knew and google translate to communicate with them.
Part of the Romanian experience, I hanged out in the main place of the village with a drink from the little tiny shop of the village while enjoyed a nice weather.
It is very interesting to see other people way of living and it may help yourself to see your daily challenges in a different way.
Personally, my experience in Romania helps me to put things into perspective and to enjoy the little things that are surrounding us.
I’m looking forward to seeing the bisons and the beautiful landscapes that Romania has to offer us.
