After we spent the night at the weather station, we woke up early in the morning to capture the sunrise. We really wanted to see how the sunlight shines on the freshly fallen snow. It was cold, I can’t lie, but we didn’t want to return under the warm blanket, we stayed outside jumping from here to there. After a very quick breakfast, we started climbing towards Țarcu peak, but unfortunately, we didn’t get up to the top because the fog was too dense. On the trail to the peak, we ran into a very meek and friendly dog, which we all loved. On our way back, we made a promise to ourselves that we will come back to conquer the peek very soon – it is in the end the mountaintop we call home and one of the wildest most spectacular N2000 protected areas in the country 🙂 (ssst!)
